As a participant in the 2012 Free-motion Quilt Challenge, I am eligible to win prizes since I completed all twelve challenges. Even if I don’t win anything, I still loved participating, and learned so much in the process. I am still hoping to try one or two of the bonus challenges, but here is my summary of all twelve months. I notice a big difference between January and December. I am still have a long way to go before I have 10,000 hours of practice in, but I’m on my way.
I want to say a huge thank you to SewCalGal, who dreamed up the challenge, organized it and supervised it along the way. Also to all the experts who contributed – it was great. Thanks you for sharing your knowledge. I have signed up for a few classes on Craftsy, and will definitely be continuing my free-motion quilting practice in 2013.
