Every once in a while, I like to make things with yarn. I knit and crochet, and I like looking at weaving, but I can’t possibly start something new at this stage of my life. I picked up this yarn last spring at a friend’s shop because I’ve seen so many of these scarves and heard how easy they were to make. The woman told me it was a one-hour project. It sat in my knitting box all summer and fall. Then one evening, we were watching a movie. I wanted to do something, but my eyes were too blurry to work on the Dutch Quilt. I got this out, and from taking it out of the box to finished scarf was about 2 hours. I first had to figure it out, and I am not a fast knitter, so it really is a quick and easy project. I think it would be great for anyone with a little knitting experience. It was fun, and is a nice scarf.
