Korean patchwork

Silk Pincushion

I have been doing a lot of sewing this week, but not a lot of blogging.  I didn’t actually finish anything last week, and I don’t want to bore people showing the same things over and over.  Friday I had my traditional Korean patchwork class and got the final instructions for my silk pincushion.

This is made with five different colours of silk and the tassel on top is made with variegated silk thread.  I really like it.  B1 likes it too.  He wanted to use it as a juggling ball.

It is about 9 cm diameter.

I have another project that just needs last instructions, so I should finish it on my next class on Friday.
