Under the Sea – at last

I finally finished G2’s Under the Sea quilt.  This was a block-of-the-month set from Willowberry Designs in 2010.  I still love the pictures – they are so cute.  I changed the setting to long 9-patch blocks, but the colours overpower the embroidery.  You have to look closely to see the fish.

This quilt matches G2’s personality – bright and cheerful.

I found an adorable pink flannel with whales for the backing.

Most importantly, G2 loves it.
