kids’ towels

The kids are getting back into fall routines, and that means one thing – birthday parties.  I really feel sorry for kids who have birthdays in July and August, since it is so much more difficult to have a party in those months.  (or late December like B1)  For younger kids, I have made a couple of these hooded towels as gifts.  I know compared to LEGO and video games, they are probably not as exciting, but the parents seem to like them and kids usually like things with their names on them.

Here is a boy version:

and a girl version:

The towels are the same size, just one is being held by a nine-year-old, and one is being held by a four-year-old.  They are made from a bath towel and half a hand towel and personalized with machine applique and embroidery.
